On the afternoon of April 8th, the 5th Standing Committee of the 11th session of the Yongkang Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held at Buyang Group. The meeting reviewed the work situation for 2023, deployed the key points of the work plan for 2024, announced the plan for the use of membership fees by the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, approved the supplementary list of executive committee members, and conducted in-depth discussions on the "Yongkang Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce Executive Committee Performance Evaluation Method (Trial)".

The meeting was chaired by Ni Fujun, Vice Chairman of the Party Group of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce. Li Haofeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Yongkang Municipal Party Committee and Party Group of the Municipal Government, attended and delivered an important speech. Wu Dongming, member of the Standing Committee of the Yongkang Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Xu Buyun, Chairman (President) of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, all members of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce team, and some representatives of non-public economy attended the meeting. Zhang Xiaohua, Deputy Director of Jinhua Foreign Affairs Service Center, and Hu Xiaoben, Deputy Director of Yongkang Municipal Party Committee Reform Office, gave policy interpretations at the meeting.

At the beginning of the conference, Zhang Xiaohua, Deputy Director of Jinhua Foreign Affairs Service Center, gave a detailed presentation on the background, advantages and characteristics, application process, application conditions, and precautions of APEC business travel cards, and answered questions and concerns raised by private enterprises on site. Through preaching, private enterprises have further deepened their understanding of APEC business travel cards, which is conducive to promoting economic and trade exchanges between Yongkang and countries (regions) of the Asia Pacific Economic Organization, and accelerating the pace of private enterprises going global.

Hu Xiaoben, Deputy Director of the Reform Office of the Yongkang Municipal Party Committee, conveyed the spirit of the document and the background of the promulgation of the Zhejiang Province Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment, and provided in-depth interpretation of the main content. The Regulations focus on the concerns of market entities, benchmark against international and domestic first-class standards, and make provisions in market management, government services, factor support, digital empowerment, innovation support, openness and improvement, cultural ecology, and legal protection. The promulgation of the Regulations will further optimize the business environment in Yongkang City, provide stronger legal protection for the development of enterprises, and is of great significance for stimulating the endogenous and innovative vitality of the private economy in our city.

Xu Buyun, Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), emphasized the important role of the Federation in promoting the development of private economy. He stated that under the correct leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Federation will closely focus on the central work of the city, fully play the role of a bridge and link to connect with private economy personnel, and the assistant role of government management in serving the private economy.
